Crazy, Stupid Love

I am in love. For real. It’s taken a lifetime, many continents, and several false alarms, but I’ve finally met the object of my affection.

Cat got your tongue?

Her name is Pebbles and she’s a tiny little Ragdoll kitten. She’s not mine, but oh how I wish she were.

She belongs to my neighbours, who are away at the moment, so Pebbles, her litter box and an awful lot of kitten food has moved into Disco Farm for a while. And I’m completely besotted with her. She’s only the size of a shoe and she follows me around the house all day, sleeps on my lap as I work, and cuddles up on the pillow next to me at night. In short, she is absolutely dreamy – and thanks to her lack of speech, the perfect life partner for me.

And she’s not my only love these days. I’m also looking after Gidget, the sweetest terrier you ever met…

Gidget the midget.

…so my bed is very crowded by 10 p.m. every night and there’s a lot of hair kicking around. But I love it and I’ll be heartbroken when I have to give them back.

Menagerie a trois?! What a lovely love-in. They do look mighty cute. How are they getting on with the Mitfords though?

    X.

    • The dog’s terrified of them and the cat’s forever trying to eat them. Shame she’s so small she only comes up to their birdy knees.x

    • Rest assured, the whole world will hear about it if one of those useless birds lays an egg!

WOW how cute is the cat – I love it! Am not sure could cope with the hair it prob produces but its absolutely gorgeous. Does it not want to eat the chickens?

    • It didn’t seem to malt, but that’s probably because it’s been about 5 degrees all week. Did try to eat the chickens though, but too small (sadly).
